So when after you make the Almond Milk recipe you are left with a lot of pulp from the almonds and what can you do with that? You should definitely not throw it away since it’s useful for a lot of things and one of those things is to make almond flour. Almond flour is a healthy alternative to normal flour and is usually sold in health stores for a hefty price but you can make it at home for a fraction of the cost!
Making almond flour is really simple. First thing you do is to take the pulp left from the Almond Milk and put it on a baking sheet. Put it into your oven and turn it on. Put the oven to your lowest possible temperature and wait for about 3-4 hours.
By then it should be dry and a little bit crunchy. Now after you have taken it out of your oven you need to get a finer texture and there are two ways of doing that. I personally just wash my hands and use them to rub the flour together (to save the dish washing).
You can also put the almond flour into a food processor if you like. After that just put them into a airtight container, it will last for several months.
And there you have it, Almond flour that is cheap, healthy and easy to make!
I hope you guys enjoy it!
