Begin by removing the outer leaves of the lettuce and throw them away. Take the leaves of the lettuce and tear them into large peaces, discard the core.
Put the wok to medium heat and stir-fry the garlic for about 1 minutes until you start to smell the wonderful fragrance. Add the lettuce to the wok and toss them around to combine it well with the garlic.

- 60 ml (1/4 cup) peanut oil
- 4 garlic cloves (, finely chopped)
- 2 tsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp caster sugar
